For us one of our most important goals is educating our children about energy. Where it comes from, the consequences of burning fossil fuels, the strengths and weaknesses of renewables, to arm them with knowledge so that they can make informed choices.

Fact: Did you know that Solar PV panels work better when cold.

Fact: Did you know that you generate more power in low pressure than high pressure.

OK - these statements need to be qualified, but that's what's great about young minds, they ask and they ask and they ask... and that's wonderful. When it comes to renewable energy we aim to provide them with the knowledge.

Our MicroGrid webpage for schools helps to provide a lot of the information needed to understand how renewables work. There are no answers or conclusions, that's for the children to work out, but, we do show how renewable energy is affected by rain, by sunlight, by temperature, by pressure, by wind, by humidity and more. And we are the only renewable energy company doing this.
