Straight TalkThe Feed-In Tariff (Clean Energy Cash Back scheme) Up to April 2010 you were able to get a £2,500 grant for fitting solar electricity to your house. These grants have now been replaced by the Feed-In Tariff. This means that you will effectively be paid about 49p* for every kWh of electricity you generate. Please have a browse of our site and then contact us for more information. * Feed-in-Tariff is 41.3p per kWh, which you get paid on total generation (not just on what you export); use half with import saving at 12p; and export the other half with revenue at 3p. Total (41.3 + 12/2 + 3/2) = 48.8p. |
